The process

How the review works

It's a real review of your numbers, done by a real person — not an instant quote from a calculator. Here's exactly what happens, start to finish.

    Tell us your setup

    Send us the basics: who you process with today, the kind of terminal or online checkout you use, and roughly what you take in card sales a month. If you have a recent processing statement, even better — a single month is enough. The quick version is fine to start.

    We read it line by line

    We go through every charge — the headline rate, plus the fees that sit underneath it: statement fees, monthly minimums, PCI charges, non-qualified surcharges, gateway and batch fees. We work out your true effective rate: the one number that tells you what you actually pay once everything is counted.

    You get it in plain English

    We write up what we found in words you can read — no jargon, no 14-page PDF. You'll see exactly what you're paying, which fees are worth questioning, and whether your current setup is already fair.

    You decide — only if it's worth it

    We walk you through it and answer your questions. If a change would genuinely help, we'll say so and handle the switch for you. If you're already in good shape, we'll tell you that too. Either way there's no pressure and no obligation.

What we actually look at

A review isn't a glance at your headline rate. The real story is in the line items most people never read:

  • Your true effective rate (total fees ÷ total card sales)
  • Statement and monthly minimum fees
  • PCI compliance and non-compliance charges
  • Non-qualified and downgrade surcharges
  • Gateway, batch, and terminal/lease costs
  • Whether you qualify for rates you were never moved onto

What we never ask for

A processing statement shows fees — it does not need your card numbers, bank login, or SIN, and we will never ask for them. You should never give those to anyone for a quote. Black out anything on a statement you'd rather not share; we only need the charges.
