The questions people actually ask before they get in touch — answered straight.

Is it really free?

Yes — the review is free and there's no obligation. If your setup is already good, we'll say so. We're only paid if you later choose to move forward with a change, and even then it costs you nothing extra.

Do you need my bank login or card numbers?

Never. We don't collect those, and you should never give them to anyone for a quote. A copy of a processing statement is all we look at — and you can black out anything you don't want to share.

What exactly do you look at?

Your true effective rate (total fees divided by total card sales), plus the fees underneath the headline rate: statement fees, monthly minimums, PCI charges, non-qualified surcharges, gateway and batch fees. We explain each one in plain English.

Will you spam or pressure me?

No. One honest review, then it's your call. We follow up once, gently, and then leave you be. No high-pressure scripts, no daily calls.

What if my current setup is already fine?

We'll tell you so — that's a good outcome too. You'll walk away knowing you're not overpaying, which is worth having even when nothing changes.

Are you a payment processor?

No. DFM Canada is an independent business that reviews payment setups and helps you improve them. We don't process payments and we never handle your funds.

Can you guarantee you'll save me money?

No, and you should be wary of anyone who does before seeing your numbers. Many small merchants are overpaying — but the only way to know your situation is to read your actual statement. That's what the review is for.

How long does it take?

Once we have your setup or a recent statement, we usually come back to you within two business days.

What happens if I decide to switch?

We handle the legwork of the change for you and stay your point of contact afterward — so you're not left figuring it out alone or chasing a rep who's moved on.
